Hey ,
Donna Wright clearly understands that the design objective of EE 2.0 was a show average of $400 to $500. But she decided not to go along with that, and uncorked yet another champagne show on Friday, November 1st.
The party was on a Friday night, and Donna says the hostess started panicking when 7:30 came and no one was there. But Donna calmed her down by reminding her it was a Friday evening and folks were just being slowed down by rush hour traffic.
Sure enough, they came pouring in around 8:00, all of them excited to being getting together on a Friday night. And, sure enough, they started buying, sending Donna's party to an impressive $1,076 in sales. And, on top of that, three of the attendees booked their own party to
boot. All of the above is to cool for school.
So how is she doing it?
Well... to give you the Cliff Notes version, Donna has adapted and innovated her approach to the EE 2.0 business format by doing the following.
She reasoned that since the business was so much easier, she should invest more effort into her hostess coaching. So she implemented Steve Wiltshire's system (remember him) of coaching her hostesses face to face and in person.
Donna says, that if you just text them and leave voice mails, they don't take the show as seriously. They think that all they have to do is to send a few texts to a few people and, presto, their house will be packed with friends.
By coaching them thoroughly and in person, Donna is able to disabuse them of this notion and coach them hard to build a very strong guest list.
Donna says, great guest lists are what make great shows, because once folks show up, they fall under the spell of the EE 2.0 atmosphere and can't help but buy. Plus, with so many price points and product categories, they can't help but find something they want."
So, Donna emphasizes that the magic is in getting 10 to 12 folks out to the party. Once they're there, the fun, the socializing, the product, and the delicious black culture vibe do the rest. If you put all those ingredients together at one time and place, she's able to sell just about everyone in the joint. But when folks are shopping outside
the show, they miss all that. So that's why Donna adopted a coaching system that seeks to maximize attendance.
She has several other "tricks of the trade" that she's developed, but so as not to make this news update too lengthy, we'll share them when she has her next Champagne show.
Oh, but you ask, "will she have another Champagne show"? And our answer to that is another question. "Is Donald Trump mean, repulsive and stupid"?
Of course he is, and of course she will.
Until then... go make a ruckus!
