Hey ,
While you go about your business this weekend, tip a champagne glass in the direction of Boston. Bernadine Kirkland, who is Consultant 1 in EE 2.0, (she was the first person to sign
up) had her first champagne party.
Interestingly enough, the party might have never happened if not for Bern standing firm. The party was scheduled for this past Sunday at 2:30 in the afternoon. But, the host called
that morning to cancel saying that people were cancelling in droves.
Bern told her, "don't worry about it. I'll be there if it's just you and me."
So Bern went to the party, and sure enough 10 people had called to cancel.
But, 15 didn't cancel.
They showed up and they showed up strong. They BOUGHT, they BOOKED and they had a
BLAST. Accordingly, the party weighed in at $1,052 in sales, 7
bookings... and the guests stayed and socialized for several hours afterwards.
Pictures are below, but before you smoke them over, absorb this tip from Bern. Make sure your hosts are sending out the teaser texts. Bern was stunned to learn that none of the guests had received a single teaser text. The host never sent them out! If she had, there would have likely been 25 people at that party!
That's all for now. Party on... and go make a ruckus!
