I loved the Ethnic Expressions Black Folks Magic gathering on Saturday. 

I always appreciate hearing stories about our history, artists, and the inspirations behind the creations.  And I always feel like I am being introduced to them for the first time.  

Brian is a true storyteller... and I loved his stories about Black people having magic beans and the power of a loving village. Our history is so rich and wonderful. I enjoyed being in a space that celebrates Blackness and our amazing culture. You could feel the love that Brian and the EE family have for Black people.

The scripture verse, Hebrews 10:24-25, encourages us to be concerned for one another and get in the habit of meeting together for encouragement.

That verse also reminds me of the Black Folks Magic gathering I attended Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole format.  

It was inspiring, encouraging and unlike any EE Zoom meeting I've ever attended. The presentation was so captivating that the hour went by fast. There wasn't a wasted moment.
